SALEM, Mass. – June 9, 2025 – Low-income children across the U.S. will receive vital dental care and oral health education thanks to a generous $23,000 donation from Smiles of Salem, led by Dr. Harbpinder Shevchenko.
The contribution, made earlier this year during the MGE: Management Experts Annual Owner’s Conference and Charity Auction, supports America’s ToothFairy, a national nonprofit that increases access to dental services for underserved communities. The funds are helping to provide screenings, oral hygiene instruction, and dental supplies to children in need, particularly during back-to-school and community outreach programs.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, America’s ToothFairy has served more than 14 million children and caregivers since its founding in 2006. In 2023 alone, the organization reached over 1.2 million children with resources such as educational materials, oral care products, donated supplies, and financial support for safety-net clinics that serve high-need areas.

Dr. Shevchenko emphasized the long-term value of accessible dental care for children.
