Oasis Dental Expands Interstate with First Melbourne Clinic

Melbourne, VIC – Oasis Dental, a Gold Coast-based dental group, is expanding into Victoria with the opening of its first Melbourne clinic on July 7. The new location in the north-eastern suburb of Brighton marks the company’s seventh clinic and its first venture outside of Queensland and New South Wales.

Founded in 2009 by Andrew Firgaira, Oasis Dental began as a single clinic at the Oasis Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast. The business has since grown to include sites in Broadbeach, Palm Beach, Chirn Park, Ferry Road, West End, and Pottsville. It also operates an affiliated clinic in Slovenia through a licensing agreement, reflecting the company’s international reach.

The new Brighton clinic will be led by two co-principals with complementary specialisations in aesthetic and surgical dentistry. The team aims to provide a range of cosmetic and rehabilitative dental procedures tailored to patient needs.

“Melbourne is going to be very focused on high-end aesthetic, rehabilitative and surgical practice,” Firgaira told Business News Australia. “Dr Bharat Agrawal’s main focus is aesthetic dentistry—such as Invisalign, bonding, veneers, and full aesthetic rehabilitations for patients who can keep their natural teeth.”

Firgaira added that the second co-principal, whose training closely matches his own, will manage the surgical side of the clinic. “Between the two of them, they cover the full scope of complex rehabilitative and aesthetic treatments.”

The move into Melbourne has been in the pipeline for several years but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Firgaira explained that each new Oasis Dental site is opened with trusted partners who share the company’s values and clinical excellence.

“Every time we open a new clinic, it’s because we know and trust the people involved,” he said. “If you have good people working with you, it makes sense to grow with them rather than hold back.”

Oasis Dental retains majority ownership in all of its clinics, holding at least a 51 per cent stake in each partnership. While there are no immediate plans for further expansion in 2025, Firgaira said the company is preparing to scale more rapidly beginning in 2026.

“We’ve got a lot of dentists who are keen to work with us,” he said. “Right now, we’re focused on refining our structure so we can expand more efficiently across Australia.”
