Community Health Alliance Revives Mobile Pediatric Dental Clinics

The Community Health Alliance (CHA) is reintroducing its Mobile Pediatric Dental Clinics to ensure that children and young adults receive essential dental care. These clinics are designed to address the often-overlooked dental needs of young people.

Upcoming Clinics

In March, CHA will host three Mobile Pediatric Dental Clinics for individuals aged 0-20. The clinics will offer a range of services, including:

  • Oral Exams and X-Rays
  • Dental Cleanings
  • Fluoride Treatment
  • Dental Sealants and Fillings
  • Hygiene and Nutritional Instruction

The clinics are scheduled as follows:

March 6: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at CHA’s Nell J. Redfield Health Center on Neil Road in Reno.

March 20: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at CHA’s Nell J. Redfield Health Center in Sun Valley.

March 27: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at CHA’s Nell J. Redfield Health Center in Sun Valley.

Appointment and Insurance Information

While appointments are encouraged, walk-ins are also welcome. CHA accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.

Additionally, they offer discounted services for uninsured patients, ensuring that everyone can access affordable dental care. This initiative reflects CHA’s commitment to providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare services to the community.
