GUELPH — Westwood & Starwood Dental will host its 10th Annual Free Dental Day on Friday, June 6, offering complimentary dental care to adults in need. The event, part of the Gift from the Heart Initiative, will take place at Westwood Dental, located at 530 Willow Rd., Suite #2. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and no appointment is required.
Adults aged 18 and over will have the opportunity to receive one free dental service—either a cleaning, filling, or extraction—on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is aimed at individuals who may not have regular access to dental care.
For a decade, Westwood & Starwood Dental have provided this service to the local community. Since its launch, the initiative has served 829 patients, delivering dental treatments valued at approximately $212,000.
Lisa Moore of Westwood Dental expressed pride in reaching the 10-year milestone. “We are incredibly proud to continue this tradition,” she said. “Good oral health is vital to overall well-being, and everyone deserves access to care, no matter their financial situation.”
Dr. Michael Bull, one of the practice’s leading dentists, emphasized the long-term impact of the initiative on community health. He highlighted the practice’s mission to make dental care more accessible and compassionate.
