KELOWNA, B.C. — A new dental hygiene clinic in Kelowna is giving back to the community by offering free dental cleanings for one day later this month.

Smyl Dental Hygiene, located on Bertram Street, will provide no-cost dental hygiene services on Sunday, June 22, to individuals who qualify through a screening process.

Clinic owner Sara Masiuk said the initiative is designed to help those in need. Services offered will include hygiene exams, X-rays, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.

“This event is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us,” Masiuk said. “We are truly excited to make an impact in Kelowna and the surrounding area.”

The clinic is accepting applications until June 15. Because space is limited, interested individuals are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

All services on June 22 will be provided by volunteer dental hygienists donating their time and expertise.
