HOLTON — Holton Dental is expanding its team this summer with the addition of a new dentist.
Dr. Trent Roth, a Columbus, Nebraska native, is set to join the clinic in June after graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry in Lincoln. His commencement is scheduled for next week.
Dr. Roth will join current practitioners Dr. Alex Gilliland, who co-owns the clinic with his wife Taige, and Dr. Samantha Rieschick. Holton Dental is located at 1100 Columbine Drive, adjacent to Holton Community Hospital.
Roth said his interest in dentistry began with his own positive experiences receiving orthodontic care as a child.
“I had a great experience being in and out of dental offices for orthodontics,” Roth said. “I’ve always enjoyed science, and dentistry felt like the right path. I want to help people improve their lives.”
He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and health science from Wayne State College in Nebraska.
As he prepares to enter the field, Roth emphasized his commitment to patient comfort and quality care.
“My goal is to make patients feel at ease,” he said. “I’ll always recommend what’s best for them.”
