OKLAHOMA CITY, May 8, 2025 — Positive Impact Dental, a dentist-founded dental support organization (DSO), has announced the appointment of two new executives to lead its next phase of growth. The company named Christopher Blann as Chief Operating Officer and Ed Dallwein as Chief Financial Officer, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and high-quality patient care.
The strategic hires mark a major milestone in the company’s seven-year journey. With 24 practices across Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri, Positive Impact Dental is preparing to expand its footprint while continuing to prioritize patient outcomes and strong practice support.
Founded by Dr. Loren Israelsen and Bradley Nelson, the organization focuses on helping both new and existing dental practices manage the evolving demands of the industry. It offers mentorship, career development, and transition support—all designed to keep clinicians and patients at the center of care.
“Christopher and Ed bring decades of experience in growing health care organizations while putting people first,” said Dr. Israelsen. “Their leadership will be vital as we scale operations and strengthen support for our partner dentists.”
Blann brings 32 years of health care operations experience. He previously helped grow Eyemart Express to over 200 locations and played a key role at Men’s Best Primary Care, a health care startup. As COO, he will focus on improving systems that enhance both practice efficiency and patient experiences.

Dallwein joins as CFO with more than two decades of financial leadership, much of it in the dental field. He formerly served as CFO at Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, a private equity-backed DSO. His strengths in financial planning and scaling organizations will support Positive Impact Dental’s sustainable growth.
