SACRAMENTO, Calif., [DATE] – The Center for Oral Health (COH) has announced its 2025 Symposium, titled Oral Health & Quality of Life Among Older Adults: Advancing Access Through Multidisciplinary Collaboration. The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. This full-day event will conclude with a formal 40th Anniversary Gala to honor COH’s four decades of contributions in oral health innovation, research, and advocacy.
As California’s aging population continues to grow, this symposium will bring together over 200 health professionals, policymakers, researchers, and advocates from across the country. The event will address key issues in oral health for older adults, focusing on solutions to improve access to care. Topics will include mobile dentistry, community partnerships with dental schools, and care for older adults facing homelessness. The symposium will also highlight findings from COH’s second statewide oral health needs assessment.
