Dentsply Sirona has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for the fourth consecutive year by Newsweek. The recognition highlights the company’s continued efforts to improve access to oral healthcare for underserved communities worldwide.
The recognition underscores Dentsply Sirona’s commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility. The company’s efforts in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) have been central to its long-term strategy. Dentsply Sirona attributes its placement in this prestigious ranking to its comprehensive sustainability program, “BEYOND: Taking Action for a Brighter World,” and its ongoing initiatives to support global health.

In line with this mission, we have partnered with the Amazon Doctors to open the first-ever digital dental clinic in an indigenous village in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest region.”
The clinic, located in Bertioga city, São Paulo, serves approximately 1,000 indigenous people from the Rio Silveira village on Brazil’s northern coast. This partnership between Dentsply Sirona and the Amazon Doctors marks a significant milestone in expanding access to specialized oral healthcare in remote and underserved communities.
Housed in a 70-square-meter space, the clinic is fully equipped with advanced dental technology, including a Primescan AC and a Sinius dental chair, both donated by Dentsply Sirona. The clinic will offer a wide range of services, such as restorative dentistry, endodontics, and prosthetics. It can accommodate up to 40 dental appointments per week, using digital impressions, intraoral scanners, and computer-assisted planning for diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Caio Machado of the Amazon Doctors emphasized the impact of this partnership: “Together with Dentsply Sirona, we are making a real difference in the lives of indigenous people by improving access to oral healthcare, enhancing their dignity, and supporting their overall well-being.”
This initiative is part of Dentsply Sirona’s broader commitment to positively impacting global health, particularly in regions that lack basic healthcare infrastructure.
